Université La Sagesse (ULS) among other leading Universities in Lebanon joined the Education Development Center (EDC) for the Annual Education Summit under the Higher Education Capacity Development (HECD) program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) with the presence of the U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Richard Michaels and USAID Mission Director Eileen Devitt.  The main agenda of the Summit was to highlight the collective program achievements and its impact focusing on five major categories. 

Dr. Jacques Touma, the chair of the management and marketing departments, represented ULS and received the partnership certificate.  The event also included a student testimonial which happened to be from ULS, Gabriel Al Hourany (Law Student) who was able to land a job in this challenging economy and competitive labor market based on the skills he acquired from the course created by the HECD program.
