The Department of English Language in the Faculty of Business Administration at Sagesse University held its annual Public Speaking Contest, entitled "Sagesse Talks" on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the Auditorium.  Ten business students competed for the title of “Best Public Speaker”, which was finally earned by Hani Abi Saab in first place, with Joan Bou Khalil in second place and Youssef Nasser in third place.  The selection of the winners was conducted by a jury composed of five celebrities from different fields, who were (in no particular order) Ms. Youmna Naufal (News Anchor at Future TV and other foreign stations), Mr. Andre Abi Awad (Founder of “Entreprenergy” and business startup coach), Mr. Bruno Tabbal (Artist and Performer), Mr. Gavin Ford (Morning Show Host for Radio One), and Ms. Aline Kamakian (CEO of FIG Holding and Woman Entrepreneur of the year 2015).  The winners and participants in the competition received a variety of prizes from the event sponsor, “Entreprenergy”.   These included different workshops and courses, as well as other tools, which can help students to start and enhance their own businesses.  The master of ceremony of the event was Sagesse business student and News Anchor at Future TV, Myckel Azar.  Several faculty members attended the event, including Mr. Charbel Tadros (the event organizer and coordinator of the English Language dept.), Mr. Johnny Geagea (representing Dean Rock-Antoine Mehanna), Mr. Kabalan Wehbe, Mr. Pierre Khorassanjian, as well as a large number of students.
