A two-day “Universal Design for Learning" (UDL) workshop was organized by the Higher Education Capacity Development Program (HECD) and funded by USAID, on the 19th and 20th of September 2023. Six representatives from Université La Sagesse participated in the workshop:
Dr. Antoine Abi Zeid, Dr. Nada Obeid, Dr. Nelly Hobeika, Mrs. Mirna Soueidy, Dr. Randa Kousseifi & Dr. Lily Assaf.
The event took place at USEK. The workshop was conducted by EDC experts - Dr. Susan Bruckner and Dr. Chris Johnstone, as part of the HECD activities. Participants were introduced to the origins of Universal Design terminology, the learning rationale for UDL and theories of change for accessible classrooms.
