As a part of the Understanding the Environment course, the faculty invites speakers to come and discuss real life industry experience. 

In April of 2021, Accor’s Vice President of Development for the Middle East, Mr. Louis Abi Abboud, was invited by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Tanios Kassis, to conduct an online session for the first year students.

During the session, he spoke about the Accor hospitality company and how they are growing in the Middle East and Asia through the purchase and management of new properties. 

According to Mr. Abi Abboud, the hospitality industry worldwide, but especially in the region, will soon be booming.  There will be many opportunities for well-trained hospitality students.  As a result, Accor is searching for new talent.  Fresh graduates should be committed to hard work so that they may achieve their goals.   They must display a positive attitude, motivation, and focused energy in order to have a successful and satisfying career.
