The Sagesse Faculty of Business Administration’s human resource management department organized the spring ‘16 “HR Experts' Roundtable on May 17th and 19th at the University’s Conference Room, where MBA students in the Human Resource Management (HRM) program presented and defended their final projects before a panel of HR experts under the guidance of their faculty members. The panel of HR experts comprised of: Mr. Charles Saliba, CEO of HR Group Holding; Mrs. Sandra Antypas, Head of Human Capital Management at BLC Bank; Ms. Jeanne Hajjar; Head of Training department at Bank of Beirut; Mrs. Eliane Gemayel, HR Manager at Dawa Management Group; Mrs. Naimée Chaar Louis, Head of Training and Development Human Resources at Bank Audi; Mrs. Zeina Chemaly, Deputy HR Manager at Libano-Francaise Bank; Mr. Raymond Abou Samra, HR Manager at Midids Group; Mr. Wissam Issa, Head of HR Strategic Planning at the Lebanese Central Bank; and Dr. Fouad Chedid, Human Resource Director at MEA. Students were congratulated by the jury on their professionalism and high-quality projects.

 

This Roundtable was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Rock-Antoine Mehanna, members of the jury, HR faculty members (Dr. Joseph Haddad, Dr. Jad Saade, Mr. Dory Daw, and Mr. Bassam Nammour) with their MBA students. Dean Mehanna encouraged students to be passionate and professional in preparing and presenting their projects to such a distinguished panel of HR directors, and stressed on the mission of the Sagesse Faculty of Business ingrained in the hands-on learning experience and the reaching out to the market place. He thanked the jury for their contribution, as well as the HRM department coordinator, Mr. Daw, and his colleagues, Dr. Haddad, Dr. Saade, and Mr. Nammour for organizing this successful yearly roundtable and for effectively coaching the students. The event was followed by a reception.
