Welcome to the Universite la Sagesse Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management.

 

The great poet Maya Angelou once said, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”  This quote captures the true spirit of hospitality.  It is not about food or beverages, check outs or guest rooms, but rather how a guest is treated and made to feel unique and special.

 

The Universite la Sagesse Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management with the academic certification of Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, prides itself on being one of the most esteemed and well-known hospitality management faculties in the Middle East.

 

This is due to certain core elements, the first being our dynamic state-of-the-art academic hotel.  Our 10 story facility is well equipped for hands-on professional training for hospitality students. Secondly, our top notch instructors are well-known in the industry and have years of industry experience and can easily convey relevant information in a laboratory or classroom setting. Our cutting-edge academic programs are rigorously reviewed on a regular basis in order to reflect innovation and rapid changes in the industry so students will always remain up to date.  In addition, our mandatory internship program allows students to gain hands-on experience with the guidance of seasoned professionals at some of the most prestigious hospitality companies in the world.

 

Our students are not just students – they are future ambassadors for the SFTHM and EHL worldwide, and this is not to be taken lightly.  They are in training to be professionals in both appearance and thought.

 

At the Universite la Sagesse Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, we prepare our students to be innovators and life-long learners, capable of being the next generation of leaders in their chosen areas, committed to personal integrity and civic responsibility.
