On December 9, 2021 our Law Graduate Lilian Abou Shahine presented students of Université La Sagesse in a human rights project under the title of "Dealing with the Past, A Memory for the Future" in an event organized by the Office of the Commission of Human Rights in the Middle East along other university students from USJ, NDU, IU, HU, UOB, USEK, LAU, and BAU.

Lilian took part in this project as a continuous interest in her internship with the Human Rights Legal Clinic at Université La Sagesse. She discussed the work done by our students and her as a researcher and legal advisor with the Regional Representative of OHCHR in the MENA Region Miss Roueida El Hage as well the consultant Ms. Wafaa Atiyeh.

Lilian also previously presented students of La Sagesse in a roundtable organized by the Human Rights Lab at USJ as a legal speaker where she with her team presented laws and recommendations on the issue of the Missing and Forcibly Disappeared Persons
