The President of Université La Sagesse, Professor Georges Nehme, led a university delegation to visit the Commander of the Lebanese Army, General Joseph Aoun. The meeting took place at his office in Yarzeh on Wednesday, September 17, 2024.

During the meeting, they discussed educational and national issues of mutual importance. As part of efforts to enhance cooperation between the university and the military institution, Université La Sagesse offered two scholarships for military medical officers in the Lebanese Army to pursue master’s degree programs. This gesture was made in recognition of the vital role played by the army in protecting the nation and as part of the university’s commitment to strengthening the capabilities of armed forces personnel in this important field.
