As part of their guest speaker series, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management welcomed Mrs Soumana Ammar, Manager of Hotel Performance Support at IHG for India, the Middle East, and Africa.

During her session, Ms. Ammar shared her experiences and the key lessons she has, focusing on the power of executive presence and self-leadership. She talked about the importance of owning your story, making thoughtful career choices, and carrying yourself with confidence. Her message was clear: leadership starts from within and shapes the way we inspire and motivate others.

The session wrapped up with a Q&A. And to end with a high note, copies of Ms. Ammar’s book were distributed to the attendees.
