As part of their guest speaker series, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management welcomed Mr. Alfred Najm, General Manager of Albergo Hotel.

Mr. Najm brought with him over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, offering students an insightful perspective on leadership, career development, and the dynamic nature of the sector. He spoke about the values that define success in hospitality—resilience, adaptability, and commitment to continuous growth. He also stressed the importance of teamwork and maintaining a strong work ethic, especially in a field that demands both passion and precision.

Mr. Najm also shared an optimistic view of Lebanon’s tourism sector, pointing to promising projects such as Vendome, Le Gray, and Four Seasons. These developments, he noted, are set to generate more than 3,000 job opportunities, opening new doors for young professionals entering the field.

The session concluded with a Q&A, where students engaged directly with Mr. Najm and received hands-on advice about internships, summer jobs, and building a meaningful career in hospitality.
