Université La Sagesse and SEEDS for Legal Initiatives are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their collaboration on advancing legal education and advocacy.

This agreement builds on the course “Dealing with the Past: The Missing and the Forcibly Disappeared in Lebanon”, implemented by the Faculty of Law Legal Clinic, in partnership with SEEDS and supported by OHCHR.

Over 400 participants already enrolled in the course, and it is accessible to the public via: http://www.mooc.uls.edu.lb/.

The signing of the MOU will implement the development of a new module in the existing MOOC. The new module is supported by UN Women. It will focus on gender-sensitive perspectives in the context of enforced disappearances, addressing the challenges faced by women as relatives of the disappeared.
