Université La Sagesse President, Professor Georges Nehme, and Arabia Insurance CEO, Elie Khoury, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch a training program aimed at enhancing expertise in the insurance sector. The initiative, part of the university’s continuing education efforts, will provide students and professionals with both theoretical and practical knowledge.

Starting in April, the program will be open to law and business students, as well as external participants and industry professionals. It will feature workshops and lectures on the latest developments in insurance policies and contracts, delivered by university professors and experts from Arabia Insurance.

The signing ceremony was attended by Camille Nakouzi, advisor at Arabia Insurance; Dr. Etienne Harb, Vice President for Research and Development at Université La Sagesse; Dr. Nelly Hobeika, Director of the Continuing Education Center; along with university board members and representatives from Arabia Insurance.

Université La Sagesse president, Professor Georges N. Elie Khoury highlighted Arabia Insurance’s dedication to preparing young Lebanese professionals by providing them with the necessary skills to thrive in the insurance sector, reinforcing the company’s role in industry development as it marks 81 years.
