The International Day of Radiology is celebrated on 8th November to honour the contributions of radiologists and medical imaging professionals, highlighting the essential role of medical imaging and radiology in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

In recognition of this day, and as the proud home of the Department of Medical Imaging within our Faculty of Public Health, we held a small  a gathering with Professor Diala El Khoury, Dean of the Faculty, Ms. Mirna Soueid, programme coordinator, as well as faculty members and students.

We were honoured to welcome Mr. Paul Makdessi, President of the Lebanese Syndicate of Radiographers, who, in his speech, emphasised the importance of staying hopeful and resilient during these challenging times.
