𝑷𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒚𝒐𝒖.
The 𝐈𝐏𝐃𝐂 organized a 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 workshop on January 10th, 2019 where students learned about the art of reading people’s gestures and acquired how to convey messages in a more convenient way.
They know now that more than 50% of the message they are delivering is nonverbal, and that a Body Language cannot be interpreted the same in every culture. For example, nodding the head means “yes” in most societies, but means “no” in some parts of Greece, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Turkey.
