Tourism and Hotel Management with the academic certification of Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne
In the presence of the Sagesse University President, Father Khalil Chalfoun, and the Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality Management, Dr. Tanios Kassis, the BS1 students hosted the spring semester Annual Parents Dinner on the Achrafieh campus at Le Gastronomique Restaurant.
During his speech, Father Chalfoun emphasized the spirit of Sagesse University, the importance of the international exposure that the students can benefit from in such a field, and on the collaboration and coordination with Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.
In his speech, Dr. Kassis praised the students for their hard work and encouraged them to strive for excellence in the hospitality field and he thanked the administration, faculty members and students for their passion, motivation and devotion towards the entire faculty of hospitality management.
The kitchen students, led by Chef Bechara Chmouny, prepared the meal and the service team, guided by Mr. Sassine Bitar and Mr. Georges Barakat, served the meal to the invited guests.
This event, that included faculty, instructors, and parents, allowed the first year students to showcase their practical skills in both the kitchen and service areas and created the opportunity for parents to meet with the faculty members.
