On Friday 21^st June, La Sagesse University and Amel Assoication launched the publication of the fifth volume of the Research Series on “Law and Armed Conflicts”, edited by Dr. Karim El Mufti, director of the Human Rights Legal Clinic (HRLC) of the Law Faculty withing the university, with the support of Diakonia.

The Seminar was held at La Sagesse University with the participation of the main editor Dr. Karim El Mufti, Dr. Myra Saade representing Diakonia and four out of the six young researchers who participated in the research effort: Marwa Dergham, Layal Yaacoub, Fadi Al Ghareeb, Mohammad Audeh Mohsen, whom each presented their papers and answered the questions of the audience.

This volume is the fifth publication of the Summer School on Law and Armed Conflict, a training program jointly organized by Amel Association and the HRLC since 2011, encouraging young Arab researchers in producing studies in International Humanitairan Law, International Criminal Law and Refugee Law, in particular on issues related to the Arab World.
