The Language Department in the Faculty of Business Administration and Finance at Sagesse University held the 2^nd Public Speaking Contest in both languages (in English: “Find Your Voice” and in French: “A La Recherche du Meilleur Orateur”) on May 19, 2015 at the Conference Hall. A jury of faculty members evaluated the contestants’ performance. The recipients of the public speaking competition awards were the following:

For the English speeches: Lea Abdo: first prize, Sally Awar: second prize and Helen Dibo: third prize.

For the French speeches: Rachelle Moufarrej: first prize, Christelle Abi Kheir: second prize and Myckel Azar: third prize.

The winners of the contest received a certificate from the faculty and prizes offered by The Agenda Beirut, Librairie du Liban, Tadros Publishing and Mauve Pub& Lounge.

Professor Mehanna, the Dean of the Faculty, took part in the event which was organized by the coordinators of the French and English departments, Mrs. Zéna Dagher and Mr. Charbel Tadros. The members of the jury, Dr. Rudy Kazan, Mr. Kabalan Wehbe, Dr. Rayan Haykal, Mr. Johnny Geagea, Mrs. Liliane Karam and Mrs. Maryanne Ballouz alongside other members of the faculty and administrative team bore witness to the success of the event and encouraged similar activities in order to strengthen the university community.
