The Language Department in the Faculty of Business Administration and Finance at Sagesse University held the 1st Public Speaking Contest in both languages (English: "Find Your Voice" and French: "A La Recherche du Meilleur Orateur") on May 9, 2013 at the Conference Hall.

A jury of faculty members evaluated the contestants' performance. The 2013 Best Public Speaker Award went to Rita Georges Nehme (English section) andMarc Naji Mady (French section), while the second prizes went to Melissa Selim Barouki (English section) and Maria Antoine Khallouf (French section).

The winners were awarded a Certificate from the Faculty and gifts from Library du Liban, Roadster Diner, Sports Experts, and Grand Cinemas.

The event was attended by Pr. Rock-Antoine Mehanna, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Finance, Dr. Gizel Hindi, Head of the Language Department, the event coordinators (Ms. Sabina Davies and Ms. Vanessa Madi), Jury members (Dr. Akl Keyrouz, Dr. Pierre Khoury, Mrs. Zeina Dagher, Mrs. Maryanne Ballouz, Mrs. Berthe Maalouly, Dr. Issam Attalah, and Mr. Geroge Yarak), along with other administrators and faculty members who witnessed this very successful event and called for similar activities that empower the university community.
