For the consecutive 5^th year and after the precedent speech events, Sagesse University (ULS) organized once again the event of Sagesse Talks 2019. The objective of the event was to give the opportunity for students to convince, inform, and entertain by using verbal and non-verbal cues.

The event was organized by Dr. Zeina Dagher and Alia Khatib, coordinators of both GER courses French and English sections of the Language Center (CDL). It was held on Wednesday, 22^nd May, 2019 from 3:30 pm till 5:00 pm, in the auditorium of the university, in the presence of the Vice Rector of Academic Affairs (Reverend Father Richard Abi Saleh), the Vice Rector of Administration Affairs (Reverend Father Dominique Labaki), Dean of Hospitality Management (Dr. Tanios Kassis), Head of Language Department (Dr. Carmen Stambouli), and other professors ; Mr. Kabalan Wehbe, Mr. Jonny Geagea, Mr. Pierre Khorassandjian, Mr. Johnny Yammine, Dr. Dory Daw, Dr. Pascal Chemaly, Ms. Liliane Karam, Ms, Chrsitelle Dahdouh, and other employees and a lot of students.

The two winners of the first prize of the French and English sections were awarded $500 each from Sagesse Universtiy. The event was sponsored by Phenomena (Advertising Agency), presented by Mr. Sami Saab (Founder CEO and Creative Director), who offered a one week phenomena experience in its premises.  The sponsor FAPA, Photography Academy, presented by Ms. Tanya Atallah (Founder), who offered a photography training scholarship award of $250 value. The third sponsor was Agenda Beirut who offered surprise gifts.

The three candidates of each section having taken the Oral Communication course have participated in the competition after having been mentored to master the verbal and non-verbal oral communication.

The winners of the French section were the following:

• 2^nd prize: Rim Helou
• 3^rd  prize : Maria Abdallah

The winners of the French section were the following:

• 1^st prize: Lana Zeidan
• 2^nd prize: Mabelle Ghantous
• 3^rd prize: Edmond Farhoud

The event was followed by a reception given by Sagesse University.
